A Sock!

Sam got busy, and made a Horcrux Sock with our Perry Hotter sock yarn. How FABULOUS!

We ordered some very special yarn from our friends at Lorna's Laces. It is Harry Potter Sock Yarn. (because our friend JK did not actually sanction it, we have called it Parry Hotter Sock yarn instead. But I know this will not confuse you!)


It is beautiful. And it can only be had at Noe Knit! We got the insider rights to this colorway. We could not be more pleased with our grand wizard obsession!

Knitting With Kids

We had another session of Kids Camp.
Holy smokes these kids are so wonderful. They are silly, and fun, and excited, and bouncing.

We've got some amazing needles to show you. They are ebony Sox Stix, by Lantern Moon. 5" double point for easier maneuvering around tight corners, like the race car of knitting needles.

News Stand

In the last two days, two magazines have come into the store, and both are note-worthy.
First, the 25th Anniversary of Vogue Knitting. They really pulled out all the stops. Advertisers splashed out with some very big very silver spreads that are beautiful. And the patterns are just a little bit more 'wearable' and less haute couture. It's sure to be a collectors item.

The magazine that arrived today is Interweave Press Knits. It is the editorial debut of Eunny Jang. It will be interesting to see how and if the magazine transitions under her creative direction.
Also, there is a sweater written by our favorite Brooklyn Tweed in there. Oh Jared, you clever man. Congratulations! We are SUPER pleased to see your efforts published!
