Book Signing

We had Maggie Pace in the shop on Saturday. It was loads of fun to see the samples she brought in with her. "A good time was had by all". Thanks for coming Maggie!

Lantern Moon Basket

Do you recognize this lovely basket?

In the London suburbs, I spotted the Lantern Moon basket. But instead of being filed with yarn, it was filled with toy cars. Here is my STBN (soon to be nephew) struck silent by the joy of exploration. Note, the level of rapture;very similar to what it would be if you found a basket full of yarn to play while visiting someone's house.

And then, after it was safe, the other 'children' stepped in and took their turn. Look at them, practically bumping their heads together to get a look at the cars.

Debbie Bliss in London

I met with Debbie Bliss for a coffee and a crossant in London!
She is so nice and so down-to-earth... it was just fantastic. We talked about all manner of the business, and then, of course, other non-knitting stuff. What a huge treat.

A trip to London

I'm off to London, to meet my soon-to-be-mother-in-law. (STBMIL) Hurrah!
Maybe I'll have lunch with Debbie Bliss? Who knows. I'll report back.

Amazing "show and tell"

The very best part of my job is knitting vicariously through all of YOU.
Here is a stunning example.

Ann came in with this!

I am in awe of the bravery, and dazzled by the result.
Bravo!
